Collective statement on the CAQ’s new home support policy

To ensure that the government takes our concerns into account, we have launched a PETITION to the National Assembly. Please feel free to share it with your networks!

In light of the preliminary guidelines for the new home support policy, scheduled for December 2025, the Clinic and its community partners have serious doubts.

Will this new policy succeed in ending the endless waiting lists? There are also concerns that it will distance citizens from the decisions and services that affect them, while compromising universal access to health services tailored to the needs of older people.

The Clinic has invited media representatives to a press conference on October 29, 2025 at 5 p.m. to express our concerns about the future Home Support policy and launch our collective position statement.
