For several months now, the Clinic has been preparing a major renovation project for the main entrance on Ash Avenue. The work will include relocating and modernizing the access ramp, a priority for the Clinic that has been identified for several years.
During the summer of 2026, the Clinic’s issued a restricted bid invitation. Following the selection process, the contract was awarded to Serbec. The agreement was signed on September 16, and work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 22. As this is a large-scale project, the work will be take place over a period of over three months. We can therefore expect some disruptions while we wait to enjoy the final result!
A detailed schedule to follow
Although the Clinic will do its best to minimize inconvenience, it will obviously be impossible to completely eliminate certain impacts related to the construction work.
A detailed schedule of the work will be provided by the contractor in the coming days. We plan to send you regular updates to keep you informed of the project’s progress and any expected impacts.
Please note that starting this week, we will be carrying out some preparatory work that may cause minor disruptions in the users’ reception area.
Starting September 22, all entry and exit must be through the Clinic’s rear door, which opens onto the yard on Ash Street.
This work is being carried out to improve the well-being and access to the Clinic for our users, as well as the working conditions for our staff. This significant investment comes from a special capital budget and is separate from our operating budget.
We thank you for your cooperation throughout this construction period.
