Getting to know each other better—at a party!

To celebrate being back from the summer and getting ready to take on a busy year of projects, the Clinic is organizing its Back to School and Work Party.

New schedule at the walk-in clinic for youth

Some months ago the Youth Team working at the walk-in clinic wanted to change the opening hours to make the service more accessible. This measure will materialize starting on Monday, August 26, 2013, when the schedule for the walk-in clinic for youth changes to Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. only.

Photography project: Looking at Pointe-Saint-Charles!

The Clinic’s Adult/Mental Health Team is organizing an activity called Looking at Pointe-Saint-Charles with three main aims in mind: to encourage the meeting of art and health, to strengthen citizens’ positive image of themselves, and to fight the stigmatization of our neighbourhood. The project will run from September 2 to October 24, 2013.

The Clinic’s Annual General Assembly is fast approaching!

Together let’s work on health and solidarity in our neighbourhood!

The date set for the Annual General Assembly is Wednesday, June 19, 2013. This year, the great gathering of citizens will be held at the Pointe-Saint-Charles YMCA centre, at 255 Ash Avenue.

January 30th: Demonstration against austerity

The Community Clinic invites you to take part in this demonstration to protest increases in Hydro rates , another example of the continuing austerity policies that affect  people on low and modest income more than others.
We'll leave as a group from Charlevoix métro at 11 am. on Janaury 30th, (Métro tickets provided for those who need them).

The Fight for Health Committee of the Community Clinic is against the increasing use of illegal or abusive fees charged by certain doctors. The Clinic has turned the spotlight on this worrying situation by having people from the neighborhood come forward ready to talk about their experiences.

The administration board of the Clinique invite you to participate to this campaign.  For the next 9 weeks, we invite you to send to the Minister an argument in favour of free choice. 

Everyone says NO to the '' Health Tax '' November 13th

The Community Clinic invites everyone to say NO to the '' Health Tax '' that the Parti Québecois government plans to put in place, after saying they would abolish it.

We will leave as a group from Charlevoix métro at 11 a.m. and the Clinic will provide métro tickets as needed.
