Access to medical consultations without appointment at the Clinic affected by Bill 20

Bill 20 of Minister Barrette promised better access to doctors for patient. But now, family doctors must ensure a minimum number of hours of work in institutions (network clinics, hospitals, etc.), time they cannot use to see patients at the Community Clinic.  Because of this, the Clinic’s doctors had to make the decision to stop medical consultations without appointment on Monday afternoons, starting from now.

However, it is always possible to see a doctor without appointment on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8am to 12pm at the Community Clinic (500 Ash avenue). Also, if you reside in Pointe-Saint-Charles and still don’t have a family doctor, you can register through the GACO : 514 766-0546 ext 52234 , or online at : gamf.gouv.qc.ca
